also i think the reason harley has so many super-villain friends and is so respected in the rogues gallery (when good writers are writing the history) beyond just her time with other villains in arkham like ivy and riddler which is alluded to a lot, is because she just kind of imposes herself on other people until they become her friend. like “HELLO THERE FRIEND I SEE YOU ARE SAD HERE HAVE A BLANKET HERE LET ME SNUGGLE UP TO YOU. YOU’RE A MURDEROUS SUPER-VILLAIN THAT EXUDES A BUTTLOAD OF ANGST AND DARKNESS? THAT’S TOO BAD WE’RE GOING TO CUDDLE NOW.”
